THE SIXTH ANNUAL PARK COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY FOUNDATION

WINTER GATHERING BOOKFAIR

WAS HELD AT THE PARK COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY
IN CODY, WYOMING

Nineteen authors with 50-odd titles participated in the 2015 Bookfair

AUTHOR TABLES

Some 1,300 people attended, listening to participating authors speak during the open mic segment and browsing among the author tables and the books on offer.

BROWSING TABLES

All participating authors had the option of putting copies of their books on browsing tables to allow prospective buyers a "bookshop" opportunity.  In 2015, our second year with this format, the volunteers monitoring the tables spent a busy afternoon.

WORKSHOPS

The 2015 workshops are described on the workshop page and were very popular again this year.  Let us know if you have topics you'd like us to cover in a 50-minute workshop format for 2016.  We're currently considering giving additional and longer workshops during the morning hours before the Bookfair begins.  Feedback on this would be welcome.

    FLASH FICTION

See Flash Fiction for the 2015 winners and  information on entering this contest in 2016.

OPEN MIC
The Open Mic area with comfortable lounge seating for 20 is very popular among attendees, the schedule appearing in the Winter Gathering program.
