WORKSHOPS

The 2013 Writing Workshops will be limited in size both to make them more useful to the participants and due to the size of the space available.  So far, the following workshops are on the schedule.
  • The Poetry of Nature with Lynne Bama, writer, journalist and author of Yellowstone Rising, the poetry of Yellowstone.  Bring samples of your poetry with you.
  • Epublishing - Print on Demand with Tina Fagan, design artist and book layout.  Tina works with authors who wish to self-publish, helping them with covers and layout.
  • Lyricism in the Essay with Rob Stodart.  Rob is a professor of English at Northwest College whose work focuses on poetry, memoir and essay.
  • Researching and Writing Local History with Jeremy Johnston, author of Powell Images of America who heads the BBHC Cody research arm and is a former assistant professor of history.
Sign-up sheets will be available at the Cody library front desk beginning 2 January or reserve your place early by writing bookfair@parkcountylibrary.org
